still, i have discovered the chinese symbol for shaman (actually the two symbols "sea" + "shaman") carved into my grandfather's sextant box. although i disapprove of kanji in principle, i am considering popping it on my ankle. it's an awfully pretty sign. in other tattoo news, charli has done me the most wicked ouroboros for my back piece, based on the universe card. perhaps i should try and make the two into one.

i am still sick, this cold has laid me the fuck low. there was a vague plan afoot to go horseriding today, but i think i might be too ill.

oh, and i'm reading errol flynn's autobiography, called 'My Wicked Wicked Ways'. which is a most excellent title for a book.
